Marcy Audrey Demafo Nangmo

Demafo Nangmo Marcy Audrey is originally from Cameroon. She started her educational background in Cameroon, where she got her Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Douala in 2019. Two years later, she successfully defended her Master’s thesis in Mechanics and Energy at the University of Dschang. In June 2021, she was admitted at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Rwanda where she completed a Master degree in Mathematics, applied to climate sciences.
Since June 2022, she is working on a Ph.D. project related to real-time control and optimization of energy systems in Africa based renewable energy generation. Indeed, Africa is actually gifted with a high potential of renewable energy sources yet not fully exploited. Therefore, the goal is to design optimum energy systems while considering uncertainties during energy generation process from renewable sources.
